Speaker 1:

Thank you, hello everyone and welcome back to CC Airwaves. My name is Paige Matillo and I'm here with my co-host, joel Hansel.

Speaker 2:

Good morning Paige.

Speaker 1:

Good morning Joel. How are you?

Speaker 2:

I am fine. Thank you for asking. I've been enjoying the beautiful weather we've been having and look forward to several weeks of continued good weather.

Speaker 1:

I know I can't wait for summer. We've gotten a little taste of it.

Speaker 2:

We've been teased.

Speaker 1:

But the past couple of days have been kind of cloudy. Today looks very nice though, though absolutely. I just dropped my dad off at the airport this morning. He's going to florida, so that's very nice for him, and now I will share what we're gonna do. Today sounds good so today we will be sharing tiktok user stories about their messages from heaven. Jo Joel, do you use TikTok at all? No, no, no, not at all.

Speaker 2:

Not at all.

Speaker 1:

See, I'm a big TikTok user. I'm on it every single day watching videos, and that's kind of where I get a lot of ideas for work, actually for flyers or for you know whatever.

Speaker 2:

Whatever helps, Paige, I guess Wherever you get your inspiration from, it's fine by me.

Speaker 1:

I think it's a really great tool. I mean, it's not just for people telling stories or sharing recipes, workout tips and, you know, adventures. It's also a really fantastic tool for the Catholic community to share their faith and connect with others.

Speaker 2:

Well, if you say so, I'm looking for reasons to put the phone down.

Speaker 1:

Well, in any case, it is a way for people to spread hope by sharing their messages from heaven that they've received, and this is where we're getting all the stories from today. So I'll just get us started with the first story. We don't have names associated with them, or the user's names were not asked to be shared. So in eighth grade I went to a sleepover at my friend's house. Her parents were gone for the night at a wedding and told her she could have a friend come over. We had a great night watching movies, eating pizza, painting our nails, etc. Eventually we fell asleep on her living room couch. I had a strange dream that night. In the dream, a woman entered the room, smiled at me and then locked the front door. One thing that stood out to me was a gold crucifix she wore around her neck. I didn't really recall much else from the dream because we were soon woken up by loud banging on the door. We crawled to the window and saw a figure trying to get into the house. My friend grabbed the phone to call the police. We hid in a closet until the police arrived. It seemed like the person trying to break in had given up and left. By that point we called my parents and they picked up my friend and me so we could sleep at my house.

Speaker 1:

Years later, I was visiting my boyfriend's home to meet his family for the first time. While we waited for dinner I browsed the photos on the fireplace mantle and stopped dead on one photograph. The face was familiar, but the gold crucifix around her neck made it clear that it was the woman from my dream. That night at my friend's house, I called my boyfriend over and asked him who she was. He told me it was his grandmother. She had passed away when he was a freshman in high school, which is when I was in eighth grade. We got married a few years after we graduated college and I wonder what role she played in bringing us together. I love that, yeah.

Speaker 2:

The meddling grandmother. You know you always hear about the meddling grandmother. Yeah, the meddling grandmother. You know. You always hear about the meddling grandmother. Yeah, here she did it from the afterlife. That's awesome.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and even in this story it always just makes me wonder, because obviously she had never seen that woman before. I don't know when she had met her boyfriend, but it seems to be years after the incident with her friend and the person who was trying to break in and just seeing that face on the mantle at her boyfriend's house. That had to be a moment that really made her feel, I don't know, connected to the family, connected to her boyfriend, or even closer to God. Who's to say?

Speaker 2:

who's to say? Story number two the night before I got married I had a dream that I was in a field. Three children walked up to me and told me they were my future children. The oldest and middle Children were boys. The youngest child was a little girl. They told me that God was sending them to me, and he did.

Speaker 1:

Now on this TikTok, she actually showed a picture of herself getting married and she had the text on it that said you know, the oldest and the middle child were boys. And then, when you flip to the next picture, it was a picture of her family and she has two boys and a baby girl. Oh wow, I know. So. I mean, god really sent her a message that night.

Speaker 2:

Must have.

Speaker 1:

Our third story is also short. I was struggling with grief after my mother died One day. I asked God to show me that she was still with me. I went to the beach that afternoon and in the clouds were the words I love you. And instead of love, it is a heart. And I actually have a picture of this one to show to Joel. Here you go, joel. I don't know if you can see it.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's pretty clear.

Speaker 2:

That's bizarre.

Speaker 1:

I know I mean if that's not a message from heaven.

Speaker 2:

I don't know what is. I don't know what else. What more you need?

Speaker 1:

I think that is a very clear sign from her mom, letting her know that she's with her, that she'll always be with her, and that she still loves her.

Speaker 2:

Story number four. Mother's Day is always difficult for me since my mom passed away a few years ago. As a florist, I'm constantly reminded of the holiday due to the numerous bouquet orders I receive. This year I decided to make a bouquet for my mom of her favorite flowers. As I gathered her favorite flowers, I came across one that brought tears to my eyes. Attached to the stem of one flower was a smaller one. Nestled close. It looked like a mother and daughter flower embracing. It felt like a beautiful sign on Mother's Day.

Speaker 1:

This one was just recently posted. I also have a picture of this one as well.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, it does look like an embrace.

Speaker 1:

I like when people include the pictures and the imagery, because then it really helps me see. I will include the photo on our social media when I post about the podcast. So, if you're listening to this, go check out our Instagram, our Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or even our TikTok, and I'll include some of the pictures from this episode that I am currently showing to Joel. All right, our next story. Driving home one evening, I was feeling lost and alone. I whispered a prayer to my deceased mother. Mom, if you're still with me, show me a sign. Moments later, a card emerged in front of me. The license plate read Mom, I am In that instance. I felt her presence envelop me, a comforting reassurance that she was still watching over me. It was the exact sign I had prayed for, and then I also have a picture of that one, Joel.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, there it is, Mom, I am.

Speaker 1:

I feel like we talk a lot about this with our director, andre, and we talk about coincidences and how these aren't coincidences. They're much more than that, and a lot of people can look at these and think that, but I truly believe that they're messages from heaven.

Speaker 2:

They're a message for somebody.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely.

Speaker 1:

Someone was asking for that sign right there. I mean, I could have been behind that car, but I wasn't. Anyone could have been behind that car, but it was the girl who needed the message.

Speaker 2:

The final story here. After my boyfriend passed away, I traveled to the Philippines with his family seeking closure. Before we left, we decided to go on a boat cruise he had always wanted to experience. As we glided under a bridge, we noticed graffiti that displayed his name and 09. I asked his mom when he last visited the Philippines 2009,. She confirmed it felt like he had left a message for us just for this moment, reassuring us that in some way he was still there.

Speaker 1:

And then there is a photo of that one as well.

Speaker 2:

Wow.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't know. I mean when he I don't know how old he was we went to Philippines, but Right. I doubt he had anything to do with that on the bridge.

Speaker 2:

Probably not.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think that's a beautiful message too. I mean, when someone leaves so unexpectedly, especially someone so young, it can often leave a hole in our hearts. But it kind of feels like when she saw that it filled that for her.

Speaker 2:

It does.

Speaker 1:
